2017 was the last time that The Horrors released their album 'V'. They did release a remix version of the LP in 2019, but since that time the group have been relatively quiet. Whilst we're assuming that The Horrors have been in the studio possibly working on a new album, they have unveiled a new single titled 'Lout'.

Leeds band Mush make their return in 2021 with a new single titled 'Seven Trumpets', taken from their forthcoming album 'Lines Redacted' out February 12th on the Memphis Industries imprint. The production, whilst seemingly stripped back on surface, is actually quite textured with sporadic instrumentation change-ups giving the song a nice touch.
In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of The Clash's 'Sandinista!' album, released on December 12th 1980, their song 'The Magnificent Seven' has been given an official video treatment. Directed by Don Letts, there are clips of The Clash's performance on Tom Snyder's The Tomorrow Show. There is also footage from the band's residency at Bond’s International Casino in New York City which ran between May and June of 81.

Los Angeles fourpiece Starcrawler have released a live single on Jack White's Third Man Records. The pack includes the songs 'Lizzy' along with 'Bet My Brains'. Recorded in Nashville back in 2019 direct-to-tape in Third Man Studios, the original versions of the songs can be found on Starcrawlers' latest LP 'Devour You' which landed last year.
Stockholm based FELIN has shared an impressive video for her latest single 'Heroes & Villains'. Directed by Giannina Panfichi, the vid looks like a proper film with singer Elin Blom dancing on stage in front of an older gentleman. She also shaves her head, giving herself a sexy, new buzz cut before transforming into an all-out heroine. Always conectrating on taking her sound and visuals to higher levels, FELIN's latest offering is surely no exception.
Mexico City band Mint Field will release their forthcoming album 'Sentimiento Mundial' on September 25th via Felte Records. To coincide with the news, the group have also shared their latest single 'Aterrizar'. A tender indie offering, the tune finds singer Estrella del Sol performing the lyrics in Spanish over gentle instrumentation that peps up sporadically throughout the duration of the song.
