Leeds band Mush make their return in 2021 with a new single titled ‘Seven Trumpets’, taken from their forthcoming album Lines Redacted out February 12th on the Memphis Industries imprint. The production, whilst seemingly stripped back on surface, is actually quite textured with sporadic instrumentation change-ups giving the song a nice touch. Musically ‘Seven Trumpets’ emits a classic Velvet Underground feel circa White Light/White Heat era. The lyrics of the track point to our possible disasterous future that awaits which includes the impact from the result of global warming. Check it out.
