Tacsidermi is the band comprised of Welsh artist Gwenllian Anthony of the group Adwaith and musician Matthew Kilgariff. Whilst already having their feet firmly planted in the Wales music scene, the pair make their debut as a unit with their new track ‘Gwir’. Drawing influences from early 90s indie and neo-psychedelia, the killer cut is stacked with texture as smokey synths sit underneath various guitar liners all acting as separate layers whilst break style drumming acts as the heartbeat, which is courtesy of David Newington. The vocals are also brilliant, making ‘Gwir’ a blissful record as the first offering. You can expect to hear more from Tacsidermi in the coming new year. Have a listen.
