2017 was the last time that The Horrors released their album V. They did release a remix version of the LP in 2019, but since that time the group have been relatively quiet.

Whilst we’re assuming that The Horrors have been in the studio possibly working on a new album, they have unveiled a new single titled ‘Lout’. Incorporating more of an industrial influence to their sound combined with elements of noise, the song is built on hammering drum hits, crunchy guitar lines and the slightly distorted vocals of front man Faris Badwan. It feels like The Horrors are definitely ready to add some grit into the current state of music. You can stream ‘Lout’ down below.
