Having began the writing process a decade ago, Kuymizakis manifested the album into reality after suffering from a bad car accident. Eventually signing to Italians Do It Better, Joon's forthcoming record is that vehicle expressing her overcoming of life's previous challenges.
Toronto outfit Bad Waitress are slated to drop their debut album 'No Taste' on September 3rd. To coincide with the news, the group have also unveiled the video to their single 'Strawberry Milkshake'. Filmed in an American style diner or rather an American horror style diner, the place is packed with zombie like figures, a result of the customers eating what looks like raw meat.
On July 30th L.A. band Death Valley Girls will reissue their 2014 debut LP 'Street Venom' on vinyl. The re-release will land as a deluxe edition via Suicide Squeeze. Along with the announcement of the reissue, Death Valley Girls have also shared a new video for their track 'Sanitarium Blues'. Directed by Wiktor Lekston, the visuals are a collage of trippy, psychedelic visuals that represent a form of astral projection.
Wye Oak have shared the official music video to their latest single 'TNT', the first of two releases landing this month. Directed by Spencer Kelly, the dream-like visuals feature singer Jenn Wasner sitting in grass whilst floating mirrors above her display various reflections which metaphorically coincide with the theme of the track itself.

London's Desperate Journalist will release their new album 'Maximum Sorrow!' on July 2nd via Fierce Panda Records. To coincide with the news, Desperate Journalist have also unveiled a video for their second single 'Personality Girlfriend'. Inspired by a 90s visual aesthetic, clips of the band performing the song are layered atop imagery of each member listening to vinyl records in their respective homes.

The pair previously unveiled the first single dubbed 'Remember We Were Lovers' back in March. They now bring forth the second single entitled 'Chase It Down', not to mention an accompanying video.
Los Angeles artist Glüme has shared her latest video 'Nervous Breakdown'. With We Suffer For Fashion Films on the direction, the vid is shot on a decorative set with Glüme stylishly dressed in all black with white socks and black loafers, reminiscent of a sort of Marilyn Monroe classicsm.
