Awake returns for the third instalment since the summer, and this time they’re putting the focus solely on the party. After two packed out events, with big names Noir, Hot Since 82 and Simon Baker heading the bill, they’re stripping it back as they say thank you to all the loyal supporters and show a warm welcome to new friends too!
Taking over Cable’s most intimate room Relay on Sunday 23rd December, it’s a pre Christmas celebration like no other. Always a hub for the best people, tasteful music and sound atmosphere, this event is about just that. Celebrating with and toasting to the hoards of people that have flooded to Awake each Sunday, by making this one proper family affair. There is nothing more fulfilling than spreading the love to those most dear at Christmas time and Awake have got some festive cheer to share.
Expect the usual diverse, cutting edge and cleverly programmed sets from two of the most respected, well-known and more importantly, well-loved club connoisseurs. Residents James Gaynor aka Dirty Filthy Soul and Ben Cain will throw on a smorgasboard of delectable beats, appetising even the most discerning of music tastebuds and pleasing the ears of house heads to bass chasers, and everything in between. They’re going from 10pm to 6am Monday morning and they’re taking everyone for the ride along with them. Good friends, party animals, industry bods, students with the knowledge; anyone who has the stamina, are all invited to join them for the big one, their final bash of the year and adios to 2012!
It’s not a real Christmas do without any presents, so Awake’s elves have been plotting away to ensure there are free treats and giveaways a plenty throughout the night.
