Portugal’s The Black Wizards have been a band that has been on our radar for a while now. Their previous releases were swinging with incredible psychedelic, desert rock, and hard rock sounds packed with unstoppable force. The trio have now shifted their style slightly with this latest release ‘Killing The Buzz’, which is out currently on all DSPs. They are also dropping a limited edition 7-inch neon pink vinyl on May 22nd. For those who purchase the record, will also have access to a exclusive unreleased track.

Opting for more indie sleaze sonics, ‘Killing The Buzz’ is sexy, funky, upbeat and everything in-between. The track has a bit of The Kills, The Strokes, and White Strips nostalgia to it, laced with their own psychedelic twist. The Black Wizards have truly struck gold with this amazing single, and we’re hoping they continue to lean more in this direction.
