Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie and singer Jehnny Beth are slated to release their collaborative album 'Utopian Ashes' on July 2nd via Jack White's Third Man Records. The pair previously unveiled the first single dubbed 'Remember We Were Lovers' back in March. They now bring forth the second single entitled 'Chase It Down', not to mention an accompanying video.
Los Angeles fourpiece Starcrawler have released a live single on Jack White's Third Man Records. The pack includes the songs 'Lizzy' along with 'Bet My Brains'. Recorded in Nashville back in 2019 direct-to-tape in Third Man Studios, the original versions of the songs can be found on Starcrawlers' latest LP 'Devour You' which landed last year.
Brooklyn band Miranda and The Beat step into the spirit of Halloween with their latest single 'Mr. Monster' featuring Obash of Bipolar, which is out via Third Man Records. Musically incorporating 60s souls, garage, surf and psychedelic, there is also that classic element of storytelling within the lyrics that foster a certain nostalgia from previous eras including late 70s punk and the golden age of folk.
London punk band Big Joanie have shared a new cover version of the Solange track 'Cranes In The Sky', which is taken from a 7" release featuring the song 'It's You', out August 14, 2020 on Third Man Records. Completely giving the original version into a soul meets punk makeover, a husky guitar riff, funky bass line and tender drums are the meat and potatoes of the production, effectively laying as a firm bed to the complimenting vocals of Stephanie Phillips.
Alison Mosshart is set to release a new spoken word album titled 'Sound Wheel' on August 7th via Third Man Records. One of the pieces taken from the upcoming LP is the track 'Animals'. Just a little over a minute in length, Mosshart has also dropped a self-directed video to accompany the track.

A whirlwind of room changing scenes of a home which feature marching in military fatigue, people working out and more with White jamming on his guitar. Now mind you, the camera pans extremely quick as the clips transition. For those who are prone to dizziness fairly quickly, we are going to forewarn you - it's rapid. Jack White has announced the release of his new album 'BOARDING HOUSE REACH', landing March 23rd via Third Man/Columbia. The forthcoming record finds White returning to his early beginnings of music making using the same gear that he crafted songs on when he was fifteen years old. Meshing together a variety of styles including rock, electronica, funk, blues, Hip-Hop and more, 'BOARDING HOUSE REACH' was recorded in White's Third Man Studios in Nashville, as well as in New York City and Los Angeles. Jack White will also release a few copies of the new album as a limited edition package which includes a special vinyl pressing and a 12" x 24" insert.
