London punk band Big Joanie have shared a new cover version of the Solange track 'Cranes In The Sky', which is taken from a 7" release featuring the song 'It's You', out August 14, 2020 on Third Man Records. Completely giving the original version into a soul meets punk makeover, a husky guitar riff, funky bass line and tender drums are the meat and potatoes of the production, effectively laying as a firm bed to the complimenting vocals of Stephanie Phillips.
Alison Mosshart is set to release a new spoken word album titled 'Sound Wheel' on August 7th via Third Man Records. One of the pieces taken from the upcoming LP is the track 'Animals'. Just a little over a minute in length, Mosshart has also dropped a self-directed video to accompany the track.

A whirlwind of room changing scenes of a home which feature marching in military fatigue, people working out and more with White jamming on his guitar. Jack White has announced the release of his new album 'BOARDING HOUSE REACH', landing March 23rd via Third Man/Columbia. The forthcoming record finds White returning to his early beginnings of music making using the same gear that he crafted songs on when he was fifteen years old. Meshing together a variety of styles including rock, electronica, funk, blues, Hip-Hop and more, 'BOARDING HOUSE REACH' was recorded in White's Third Man Studios in Nashville, as well as in New York City and Los Angeles. Jack White will also release a few copies of the new album as a limited edition package which includes a special vinyl pressing and a 12" x 24" insert.
The Dead Weather will release their third album 'Dodge and Burn' on September 25th via Third Man Records. Although the band have already dropped the official video to the single 'I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)', they have now brought forth a live performance of the tune.
