Ratatat ‘Pricks Of Brightness’ Video

If nothing else, Ratatat wins the best song title of the year for their track 'Pricks Of Brightness'. Although the song itself is quite mellow and soothing, the Luis Cerveró-directed video is slightly weirder. There are random clips of a guy spray painting "prick" on trucks and vans, people holding up paintings and even a woman holding a telephone receiver to a dog's ear. You can come to your own interpretation regarding who would be considered a "prick".

Leo Abrahams Interview

Leo Abrahams is the musician’s musician. The guitarist, pianist, producer, arranger and composer has not only worked with some of top tier acts in the music business, but has released cutting edge solo albums that are more like sonic paintings, creative and vivid. Having played piano and guitar from the time of a youth, Abrahams was a member of various bands as a teenager, later attending London’s Royal Academy of Music. Initially concentrating on a career as a classical composer, he was presented with an opportunity to play with Imogen Heap, and from there it was off to the races.

Listen to Gengahr’s New EP ‘Tired Eyes’

London band Gengahr have released a surprise EP entitled 'Tired Eyes', which follows their debut LP 'A Dream Outside'. The tracks on 'Tired Eyes' were recorded during sessions for the album which were recentely revisisted. Working with producer Felix Bushe, tracks from the new EP will be included on a deluxe version of 'A Dream Outside', landing September 30th. You can stream the EP in its entirety via Spotify.
