If nothing else, Ratatat wins the best song title of the year for their track ‘Pricks Of Brightness’. Although the song itself is quite mellow and soothing, the Luis Cerveró-directed video is slightly weirder. There are random clips of a guy spray painting “prick” on trucks and vans, people holding up paintings and even a woman holding a telephone receiver to a dog’s ear. You can come to your own interpretation regarding who would be considered a “prick”. The song is featured on Ratatat’s current LP entitled Magnifique.
