San Francisco's Tycho are slated to release the 'Weather Remixes' LP on December 18th. The new record features reworks of songs from Tycho's 2019 album 'Weather'. Some of the producers lending contributions include Com Truise, Christopher Willits, RAC and more.
Toronto's Gillian Mapp is a singer, songwriter, photographer and founder of The Build collective, who is one of the forces helping to push the creative scene of the city. Having contributed vocals to acts such as 2nd Son and Wu-Lu, Mapp shared her single 'Orange Bitters' earlier this year.
With their 'Unhappy Days' remix EP landing November 13th on Distiller Records, Glasgow band The Ninth Wave have been sharing a number of reworks of their songs including versions by Working Men's Club, Mogwai and Low Spirits. The band now unveil a remix of their song 'Abattoir' by none other than London-based band Dream Wife. Dark and menacing, musically the production steers away from what we are typically used to from the trio.
Glasgow's The Ninth Wave have shared a new remix of their track 'Come Down Forever' courtesy of Working Men's Club. Giving the tune a rave makeover, bouncy 80s-esque drums and cowbells are fused with sharp synth stabs as effects are layered on top of the vocal snippets.
London's Karthik Poduval, known for his work as a member and founder of the psychedelic band Flamingods, as released a new single under his Mera Bhai moniker. The track titled 'Jama El F'na' is more of a remix of Ahmed Fakroun’s 1987 cut 'Jama El F’na', which was featured of the LP ''Mots D'Amour = Love Words'.
LARRY PINK THE HUMAN, the band consisting of Slave's Laurie Vincent and producer Jolyon Thomas, have unveiled a new remix of their single 'LOVE YOU, BYE' courtesy of London's Everyone You Know. Completely transforming the original indie pop version into an atmospheric, 4x4-driven rave composition, the duo use breakbeat drums to coincide with moody guitar lines and ethereal synths. The Holy Knives have team-up with The Kills' Jamie Hince for a remix of their track 'Always Gone'. Hazy guitar licks, church bells and slow-marching drumming are the base of the production. What can be described as spaghetti western meets psychedelic, desert rock, Hince's version is dark, sultry and uber sexy.

Well now he has finally released this killer version to the general public. Paris-based duo Nadeah & Beki have shared a new post-punk remix of their song 'Ou Est Tu?', courtesy of none other than Nouvelle Vague's Marc Collin. A high-pulse offering, the song is built on a crunching bass line, stabbing synths and racing drum programming.
Yorkshire's Franky Wah has reworked the classic Olive single 'You’re Not Alone'. Whilst the original 90s version was more breakbeat-driven, Franky Wah transform the tune into a luscious deep house bit that is truly entrancing. Cosmic synths lay comfortably atop pulsing 4x4 kicks with the echoing vocals of Olive giving it that blissful touch.
