London’s Karthik Poduval, known for his work as a member and founder of the psychedelic band Flamingods, as released a new single under his Mera Bhai moniker. The track titled ‘Jama El F’na’ is more of a remix of Ahmed Fakroun’s 1987 cut ‘Jama El F’na’, which was featured of the LP ”Mots D’Amour = Love Words’. Whilst bits of the original are in place, Poduval gives the tune a modern club bounce that makes you want to jump up straight to the dance floor. Mera Bhai’s ‘Jama El F’Na’ is out now via 0800-MOSHI-MOSHI.
