The Crowleys Share Their Breezy Tune ‘Simple Reflection’

Canadian band The Crowleys have been releasing excellent songs harking back to 2015 with their 7" record 'Fane Jonda'. With the group currently prepping a new EP that is slated to land later in the year, they have dropped a new track entitled 'Simple Reflection'. A summery splash of synth-pop and psych-rock, the song is stacked with breezy guitar riffs, a grooving bass line and even vocoder-dripped vocals. Lush and easing in sound, the 80s-styled cut is the ultimate aid for escapism.

Top Pick: The Dials ‘That Was The Future’

The Dials have been Brighton's secret weapon for 15 years now. And whilst it's almost hard to believe that the band formed in 2002 rather than maybe 1962, their perfect blend of psychedelic, jazz, garage, surf, pop and more is right up to par with the legends of the past. Releasing their self-titled debut album back in 2007, followed by their 2009 sophomore LP 'The Companions of The Rosy Hours' and finally their third offering 'The End Of The Pier' which landed in 2013, it seemed that the band had packed one hell of a musical ride spanning the six year range. So fast-forward to 2017, and just when you think that The Dials may have run clean out of steam, the lads have done just the opposite and pushed harder and damn near better than ever with their fourth album 'That Was The Future'.

Keeping their sound raw and organically core, this is another great taster of what the band is getting ready to deliciously serve. Have a listen.

Stream The Cave Children’s “Antigone”

We will always have a soft spot for dreamy, psychedelic sounds and once again, the Greece-based label Inner Ear delivers the goods with a new record by Athens band The Cave Children entitled "Antigone". Taken from their LP Quasiland, "Antigone" is a warm and feel-good experience of pop and psych-rock that evokes the spirit of the soundtrack to the 1967 Summer of Love movement.
