Canadian band The Crowleys have been releasing excellent songs harking back to 2015 with their 7″ record ‘Fane Jonda’. With the group currently prepping a new EP that is slated to land later in the year, they have dropped a new track entitled ‘Simple Reflection’. A summery splash of synth-pop and psych-rock, the song is stacked with breezy guitar riffs, a grooving bass line and even vocoder-dripped vocals. Lush and easing in sound, the 80s-styled cut is the ultimate aid for escapism.

Touching on the song, drummer and singer Stuart Downie stated:

“Simple Reflection’ observes a collection of fond memories amid the chaos. It explores the human ability to juxtapose nostalgia with the reality of a culture in crisis.”
