When New York City duo Beau shared their debut track 'Karma' a year ago, it was pretty evident that these girls were set do big things. Having dropped a number of songs including 'One Wing', which was featured on the 'Kitsuné New Faces' compilation, as well as 'Fire', the band are recently dropped their debut LP 'That Thing Reality'. Beau continue their alt-pop invasion with a new track taken from the album titled 'Animal Kingdom'. The upbeat and swinging rhythm contrasts the interesting narrative of animals going to war with people.
Apologies never sounded so grooving, as with the case of Francis Lung's latest single 'Dance 4 Sorrow'. Taken from his forthcoming EP 'Mother's Son', Lung employs a danceable indie pop silhouette which slighly incorporates traces of 80s new wave. The song finds Lung (Tom McClung) expanding past the sound he created with his former band WU LYF. Below is a stream of 'Dance 4 Sorrow'.

Releasing their 'Dual' EP back in 2015, Bristol duo Meadowlark return with a follow-up single track called 'Paraffin'. Graced with lush piano arrangements and ripe melodies, the song is taken from a forthcoming EP boasting the same title. Dubbed as what the band label "an evolution", the new record will include an acoustic version, a remix by Tender, as well as new cut titled 'Satellite'. 'Paraffin' is out April 22nd. Have a listen.
Back in 2014, Jordan-raised singer King Deco dropped her debut EP 'Tigris'. Since then, she has gone on to collaborate with Denver producer Illenium and L.A. band ROOM8. The NYC-based vocalist now shares her latest single 'Castaway', a mid-tempo, buttery indie-pop bit that contains an infectious tropical flair.
