Knuckle Pups ‘California’ Video

Denver band Knuckles Pups emerged within the DIY punk scene of the city. Having released their EP 'San Panino' back in 2018, the lively group is now gearing up for the release their debut album. The first single taken from the upcoming LP is their vivid song entitled 'California', which Knuckle Pups have also shared an accompanying video for. Directed by Olivia Hendrick, a former student of KP front man Oliver Holloway, the wild and fun visuals feature the band dressed up in vegetable costumes whilst enjoying playful moments on the street. Eventually however, they end up meeting their fate, which happens to be every veggie's nightmare.

Produced by Zavala herself and recorded at Urchin Studios in London Fields, the album consists of 10 tracks in total, with the artist lyrically weaving between English and Spanish. Incorporating elements of cumbia, folk, pop and even reggaeton, vibrant Latin rhythms dance throughout as Zavala delivers a gorgeous and heartfelt performance, a brilliant continuation of her earlier work.
