Aside from having one of the coolest names in music, Belgian duo Compact Disk Dummies have unveiled their new single 'Holy Love', which is taken from their forthcoming album 'Silver Souls'. Produced by Gareth Jones and Shameboy, the track is a splash of electronic pop that hits in a grandioso manner. 'Silver Souls' will get released on May 6th via the Benelux label. Have a listen.

Ella On The Run Covers the Classic Ace of Base Track ‘All That She Wants’

Two things tend to happen when artists do cover versions of classic tracks: one, they either do sub-par takes on it or two, their versions only sit right along side the original. In the case of Ella On The Run, her cover of Ace of Base's classic tune 'All That She Wants' is completely a different spin altogether, excluding the lyrics. Whilst the original Ace of Base song is probably dear to many people, in our opinion, Ella On The Run's rework is actually better. Slow and haunting, the London vocalist practically made the song her own and it's absolutely brilliant. We have a stream of the song below.

Ry X Returns with His Moody Single ‘Only’

Releasing his 'Berlin' EP back in 2013, as well as 'Liminal' with his band The Acid, Australian artist Ry X makes his return with a new single entitled 'Only'. Taken from his forthcoming album 'Dawn' out May 6th via Infectious Records, the single is driven by moody piano riffs and beautiful minimalism, something that has become a staple of Ry X's work in the recent years.

In her video 'Love is Blind', York-born singer Låpsley depicts groups of couples sitting in therapy. Directed by Cherise Payne, the camera continuously revolves around men and women whose faces display an array of emotions whilst trying to deal with the personal struggles of love. The song itself is taken from Låpsley's debut LP 'Long Way Home', which is out now.

Singer, musician and composer Sofia Härdig is considered to be one of the leading acts coming out of Sweden with a sound organic and raw, explosively bursting out of the seams with energy. No stranger to the music industry, Härdig has worked with the likes of Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon and Julia Crafitz of Pussy Galore, not to mention Grammy Award winning group The Hellacopters and more. In a sense the Swedish artist reflects the very idea of what a true rock star looks, feels and sounds like. Whilst her native country has maintained a tradition of pumping out pop acts, Härdig's music is experimental, racing, unafraid and unapologetic. Her visuals are performance art, something that was a staple in New York's East Village punk and new wave scene or West Berlin in the 70s and 80s.
