N0V3L Announces Debut LP ‘NON-FICTION’

N0V3L's 2019 self-titled EP was high on our list of releases that year. Now the Canadian band have announced news regarding their forthcoming debut album 'NON-FICTION'. Landing May 28th, the 11-track record will span the sounds of post-punk, garage rock, new wave and even funk. Sonically the new LP will also be darker than the band's past work.

Toronto band TeenANGER step forth with their latest single 'Trillium Song', taken from their upcoming LP 'Good Time', out October 2nd on Telephone Explosion Records. Treading between the sounds of post-punk, no wave and art pop, the tune launches with a funky bass line before slinky guitar lines are incorporated. The spirited chorus of the track adds a different texture with 'Trillium Song' earthed from the lineage of Talking Heads. We have a stream of the cut below.

Blue Hawaii ‘I Felt Love’ Video

Blue Hawaii, the duo compromised of Raphaelle Standell-Preston and Alex Kerby, have shared visuals for their single 'I Felt Love', which is taken from their upcoming mixtape 'Under 1 House', out September 25th on Arbutus Records. The video features Raphaelle Standell-Preston enjoying a day swimming in a lake and dancing whilst additional clips of the singer filmed with collaged and trippy effects are weaved in.

A summery handing of R&B with a tint of afrobeats, Lia's silky delivery is backed by mellow production stacked with breezy guitar licks, easy synths and swaying drum kicks. A lovely cool-out cut, the track places emphasis on not being able to make it beyond the friend zone of an interest.
