Jane Inc. is the musical project of Toronto-based singer/musician Carlyn Bezic of U.S. Girls, Ice Cream and Darlene Shrugg. Scheduled to release her debut LP entitled Number One on March 19th, Bezic has unveiled her new single ‘Steel’. Creating a bridge between the past and present, musically the song encompasses synth pop to 80s R&B. With lashing synths coinciding with thundering drums, there is a nostalgic feel of Prince’s 1999 to The Time’s Ice Cream Castle era. ‘Steel’ is a great window into the upcoming album in which we’re eager to here.
