Sometimes happenstance can foster something that in unexpectedly great. In the case of Phoebe Little and Jas Scott, it was a coincidental meeting at a writing camp in Normandy where their interaction began. Even that encounter was circumstantial as it was producer James Sanger who connected the two together after hearing something in both of the women and understanding that they would be a perfect musical match. He was right. That pairing led to Little and Scott forming the band SpaceAcre.

Duo Lee Bowie have shared their latest single 'Save', which is taken from their forthcoming album. Tackling the issue of being too dependent in an ill-mannered relationship, musically the track is an upbeat handing of experimental and art pop with jazz style vocals brilliantly placed atop. Peppy piano play align with bopping drums and sharp synth lines, all resulting in one overly infectious tune. 'Save' follows Lee Bowie's previously released cut 'Break'.

Berlin-based artist Aime Simone has unveiled the video for his latest track 'Everything's Changing', with the single taken from his forthcoming EP 'Say Yes, Say No'. Filmed during the pandemic lockdown, the black and white visuals feature a closeup shot of Aime Simone as he performs the track.

Jehnny Beth Drops Her Killer Single ‘Heroine’

One of the albums that we are anticipating this year is Jehnny Beth's 'To Love Is To Live', which is out June 12th. Having already dropped the singles 'I'm the Man' and 'Flower', she now reveals her new track 'Heroine'. Explosive in sound, the production jumps from the speakers as a thundering bass line blends with whirling keys, not to mention horns even factored in towards the end of the cut. Produced by Produced by Flood and Adam Bartlett, 'Heroine' was co-written by Johnny Hostile and The xx's Romy Madley Croft. With her new LP 'Late Bloomer' landing May 29th via Simone Records, Mirabelle has shared her new single titled 'Betty'. The tune is a husky blend of dose of haunting alt-pop and trip-hop consisting of sinister synth lines over thundering drum thumps. There is a point in the track where the instrumentation shifts into beautiful piano-led breakdowns before once again stomping with might.
