Montreal outfit SUUNS have unveiled a new song entitled ‘Wave’. The song has undergone transformations throughout the past year whilst the band was touring off of their 2021 album The Witness.

An experimental handing of noise rock, electronica and more, the swinging boom bap drum pattern is a nice palette for the barrage of sounds that the group bend and stretch beyond comprehension. ‘Wave’ is available on all digital streaming platforms and limited edition 7″ vinyl.

Touching on the track, SUUNS’ Ben Shemie stated:

“While touring (in support of) The Witness, between plane rides, car rides, van rides, and text threads, we started working on new music. New sounds and a new approach seemed to take shape while testing new material. What started to emerge were really slow songs, some strange experimentations, and some unclassifiable jams. Amongst these tunes, ‘Wave’ emerged. One of SUUNS’ simplest songs, drawing on our classic rock and roll background and a nod to our Montreal brethren The Besnard Lakes.”
