Known for a clean, acoustic folk sound and his dapper style of dress, L.A. Salami released his 2013 EP Another Shade of Blue, followed by his opening of the Burberry Spring/Summer ’14 runway show. By the end of 2014 Salami went on to release a second EP entitled The Prelude. Since that time however, he has been a little quiet but it’s now evident that there was something cooking in the creative oven. Bringing forth his new single ‘The City Nowadays’, the London musician has beefed up his sound with an edgier post blues/garage rock feel added to the mix. Sonically it’s properly fitting for the content which covers the state of everything from life to the fast food style of music. ‘The City Nowadays’ lands June 24th via Sunday Best Recordings.
