Delving into the journey of his great-great-great grandmother Kizzy who made the trek from the United States to Canada in the 1800s, the LP is a collection of songs that represent that time period and the possible accompaniment throughout her travel. Co-produced with John Raham, Khari Wendell McClelland blends various musical styles to create one powerful and masterful record.

Jack White Announces New Album ‘BOARDING HOUSE REACH’

Jack White has announced the release of his new album 'BOARDING HOUSE REACH', landing March 23rd via Third Man/Columbia. The forthcoming record finds White returning to his early beginnings of music making using the same gear that he crafted songs on when he was fifteen years old. Meshing together a variety of styles including rock, electronica, funk, blues, Hip-Hop and more, 'BOARDING HOUSE REACH' was recorded in White's Third Man Studios in Nashville, as well as in New York City and Los Angeles. Jack White will also release a few copies of the new album as a limited edition package which includes a special vinyl pressing and a 12" x 24" insert.

The Rolling Stones ‘Ride ‘Em On Down’ Video

Actress Kristen Stewart stars in The Rolling Stones' latest video 'Ride 'Em On Down', a cover of the Eddie Taylor track. Directed by François Rousselet, Stewart wildly drives around downtown Los Angeles in a classic Ford Mustang, ultimately ended up down by the infamous L.A. river where she strangely enough, spots a zebra strolling about. The single itself is taken from The Rolling Stones' album 'Blue & Lonesome', which contains covers of classic blues cuts. Have a look.

Listen to L.A. Salami’s Garage/Blues Rock Single ‘The City Nowadays’

Known for a clean, acoustic folk sound and his dapper style of dress, L.A. Salami released his 2013 EP 'Another Shade of Blue', followed by his opening of the Burberry Spring/Summer '14 runway show. By the end of 2014 Salami went on to release a second EP entitled 'The Prelude'. Since that time however, he has been a little quiet but it's now evident that there was something cooking in the creative oven. Bringing forth his new single 'The City Nowadays', the London musician has beefed up his sound with an edgier post blues/garage rock feel added to the mix. Sonically it's properly fitting for the content which covers the state of everything from life to the fast food style of music. 'The City Nowadays' lands June 24th via Sunday Best Recordings.
