London band Fightmilk have announced the details of their upcoming second album. Titled Contender, the LP will land May 14th on Reckless Yes. Aside from a digital release, the record will also get pressed on cream/smoked and ‘lucky dip’ eco vinyl, as well as CD format.

To coincide with the news, Fightmilk have also unveiled their latest single called ‘If You Had A Sister...’, which is released as an AA single b/w ‘I’m Starting To Think You Don’t Even Want To Go To Space’. A dazzling and melodic indie sliding, the track finds the band slowing down there more revved sound, opting for something a little more chilled. The vocals of front woman Lily Rae are blissful, making the single a truly pleasurable cut.

Touching on the single, singer/guitarist Lily Rae stated:

“‘If You Had a Sister…’ is a bit slower and quieter than the fast guitar pop of the last album, and it’s about all kinds of dark things—but if there was ever a time for songs you can do ominous slow dancing to, it’s now.
