The standard bearers of grime, Butterz, return to Room One once again this January, bringing with them another one of their heroes, Kano. After making a fleeting appearance at one of their shows here last year, he’s returning to headline and will do so atop a bill that features Elijah & Skilliam, Swindle, the influential DJ, Spyro and Gobstopper boss, Mr Mitch (who’s still fresh from the release of his debut album, Parallel Memories, on Planet Mu).
One of Manchester’s leading lights – clubbing wise – Hoya:Hoya, will also return to their coveted Room Two slot with special guests Kahn and Kutmah joining Hoya residents Illum Sphere, Jonny Dub and Jon K in the booth. Whilst both known for being a little bit different their individual and scattershot takes on the art of DJing, the guests should fit in snug amongst the far reaching selections we expect from the Hoya team.
Keysound Recordings will break the seal on FABRICLIVE’s 2015 Room Three program with some of the label’s core artists. LV will perform live with vocalist Josh Idehen and Logos, Dusk & Blackdown, Wen, Parris and LHF will all play sets that celebrate the dark form the label represents.
