Berlin trio Die Anstalt have released a number of incredible synth-punk, coldwave, and post-punk tracks spanning the past two years. They released their debut self-titled album back in 2025. Now officially signed to City Slang, the band will release a deluxe edition of the LP on September 25th. Along with the announcement Die Anstalt have shared their new live version of the track ‘Kalter Schweiss’.

‘Kalter Schweiss’ was originally featured on their 2025 self-titled album. The live rendition adds even more life to the synth-punk, coldwave cut. There is also an accompanying video which can been seen down at the bottom.

In regards to their City Slang signing, Die Anstalt stated:

“It was love at first sight, but like any healthy relationship, we had to get to know each other first. We explained who we are, why we think they’re great, and asked ourselves: how could we support them without asking them to compromise what made them special in the first place? It’s extremely important to us that this band keeps doing exactly what it does.”
