Montreal artist Annie-Claude Deschênes has announced the release of her debut album LES MANIÈRES DE TABLE. Landing this spring via Italians Do It Better, the record marks the follow up to Annie-Claude Deschênes’ ‘MENACE MINIMALE’.

Coinciding with the news, Annie-Claude Deschênes has also unveiled her new single entitled ‘Phones’. With the production encompassing a steamy, sexy, dark disco sound, there are also voices from a telephone call conversation involving a restaurant reservation, all spoken in French. According to Annie-Claude Deschênes, the snippets highlight when politeness can go overboard, fostering a sort of robotic mannerism.
