Having released her LP Tormented Walls back in April of this year, Berlin artist Rosa Anschütz has now unveiled another album entitled Sabbatical. This should come as no surprise considering that Anschütz also dropped two albums in 2024 – Interior and Your Truth Is A Lie.

Sabbatical is composed of 14 tracks that straddle the lines of dark wave, ambient, and minimalist electronic soundscapes that at times are melancholic and other moments bursting with a blossoming beauty. The unorthodox nature of the many of the songs, similar to Rosa Anschütz’s past recordings, continue to create a roping engagement that is undeniable, as well as shines a spotlight on her high taste artistic approach to her work.
