London’s Willow Kayne has shared her new single ‘Rat Race’. Fusing everything from melodic pop to trap, Kayne touches on confidence and trying to navigate through the music industry, which can be a rat race in itself. Aside from the song being a banger, the singer delves into various flows, toggling between singing and rapping. Perhaps this is possibly a sign that a debut album is on the way. Touching on the single, Willow Kayne said;

“I wrote Rat Race when I was going through a little crisis; the music business sometimes makes me feel like I am a lottery ticket among millions of others. To sum it up briefly, it’s about the moment when you ask yourself “Am I doing this right? Or better yet, what AM I doing?”
