One of the more interesting videos that we’ve seen in a while is by London band Vaults. Directed by Nick Rutter and Vaults themselves, the dark and haunting vid pulls inspiration from the ‘Dance of Death’ or ‘danse macabre’ allegorical concept reflected in paintings and poetry, which had a heightened popularity around the Middle Ages. The stunning and incredibly beautiful video is nothing short of intriguing. Vaults’ “Lifespan” EP is out September 1st on Virgin/EMI.
