If it’s one thing that the Swedish do extremely well, is craft some of the finest pop songs around. After releasing her self-titled LP back in 2011, Stockholm artist Ester Ideskog aka Vanbot, scrapped her original plan of dropping a follow-up album in 2013 to re-establish a new direction and sound. The result is her forthcoming album entitled Perfect Storm, out May 15th.

Having revealed the first single “Trooper” back in February of this year, Vanbot now shares her new track “Seven” which will also be featured on the new work. Packed with big, echoing vocals, sharp, scattering synths and mid-tempo 4×4 programming, “Seven” is pop music and all the magic that it has to offer.
