Creative director Peter Hawkings came out with all guns blazing for Tom Ford’s 2024 Summer runway show. The name of the game was elegance in all its glory, bridging a strong gap between the present and the 1970s, early 80s eras. While Hawkings didn’t necessarily reinvent the wheel in terms of design, what he did do was execute the pieces flawlessly, which often times count for more.

Female models paraded the runway showcasing well tailored suits, both trouser and skirt sets, long sheer dresses, safari tops, sleek cat suits, oversize 70s style sunglasses, and more, which all lit up the catwalk, bursting with sex appeal and extraordinary class. Men sported sequins blazers, leather biker jackets, finely crafted suiting ranging from earth tones to sparkling metallic gold, and eyewear, resulting in the utmost of cool.

Tom Ford’s latest collection checks the boxes of glam, luxury, and craftsmanship. Peter Hawkings not only came with an agenda of dominating the runway, but he successfully achieved it with the greatest of ease.
