Tempers ‘Sightseeing’ Video

NYC group Tempers have announced the release of their forthcoming album New Meaning, slated to land April 1st on DAIS. The record is the follow-up to their Private Life LP which dropped back in 2019. Comprised of 10 songs, ‘New Meaning’ will touch on topics such as loss, introspection and existentialism.

Tempers have also shared the video to their latest tune ‘Sightseeing’. Enlisting L.A.-based Clayton McCracken for the direction, the vid features hyper-surreal imagery of city landscapes and architecture blended with distorted shots of Tempers singer Jasmine Golestaneh.

Touching on the single and video, Jasmine Golestaneh said:

“‘Sightseeing’ looks at the thrill and struggle of urban life. It’s a song about finding meaning by constantly dissolving, renewing, and redefining oneself, amidst the machinery of the city. The video explores how psychic traces left by memory can transform architecture, and animate parallel worlds. It’s also a continuation of an ongoing theme in our work, investigating the relationship between public and private space.”
