Back in 2015 Stockholm pop songstress Ester Ideskog aka Vanbot released her album 'Perfect Storm' via Lisch Recordings/Sony. A glistening presentation of Scandi-pop at its finest, the LP was praised by various media entities. Making her return, Vanbot has shared her new single titled 'Collide (Krasnoyarsk)'. Written after a trip through Siberia, the music ventures away from the sound of her last pop recordings, trekking into more of a raw, electronic front. Taking from her forthcoming album 'Siberia', was written and recorded by Vanbot along with Petter Winnberg and Johannes Berglund.
In our opinion, Vanbot's 'Perfect Storm' was one of the top pop albums of 2015. Packed with a consistent selection of insanely catchy songs, the Johannes Berglund-produced LP was praised across the board by various media entities around the world.
Stockholm's Vanbot now releases the video for her highlight track 'The Way You Say It'. Directed by Jonas Hong Soo Eriksson, the smokey, shadow-heavy vid shows Vanbot performing various moves all the while draped in eye-catching attire. We're on board.
Stockholm's Vanbot connects with Brazilian producer Césare for a glistening remix of her song 'Trooper'. If you know anything about the music of Césare, who we have written highly on in the past year, then you know everything that he touches is pretty golden. You can't help but immediately imagine an environment of sun, fun and beauty upon listening to this rework. The original version is taken from Vanbot's LP 'Perfect Storm', which is a must buy for those who love really good pop music. You can stream the Césare remix of 'Trooper' below.
