Jorja Chalmers ‘Human Again’

Australian singer and musician Jorja Chalmers is gearing up for the release of her debut LP 'Human Again', out September 20th on Italians Do It Better. With the title cut currently streaming, Chalmers has now shared the video to the track. Directed by Johnny Jewel and Karolina Paczkowska, retro-styled clips feature visual collages between a rotating statue and the head of Jorja.

Anna of the North Returns with ‘Playing Games’

Anna Lotterud aka Ann of the North returns with a new song entitled 'Playing Games'. A glistening synth-pop recording, Anna sings of leaving her imprint in a relationship and having slightly more control, making the significant other always feel her presence. The song follows Lotterud's previously released track 'Thank Me Later'.

Cream with a K ‘It Gets Me Down’ Video

Cream with a K returns with visuals to her latest single 'It Gets Me Down'. The video features the singer in a bedroom performing the song with her band (who at times are as still as statues), with Super 8mm clips weaved in-between. There are even Japanese subtitles embedded. Whilst the video is directed by Johnny Barker, it should be noted that Cream with a K actually handled the creative side and styling. 'It Gets Me Down' is currently out now.

Black Marble ‘One Eye Open’ Video

Chris Stewart's will release his new album 'Bigger Than Life' under his Black Marble project. Forthcoming later this year via Scared Bones Records, Stewart has shared a video for the single 'One Eye Open', which will be featured on the new LP. Directed by Chris Stewart and Ben Pier, you can find clips of a girl riding an electric scooter around Los Angeles. The video is shot with that classic VHS effect, giving it an old school feel. Freshly singed to Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce imprint, rising Bristol band Tungz have shared their latest single 'Do You Like It?'. A grooving taste of 80s funk and lo-fi pop, the track is peppered with great switch-ups in the production with a sing-along chorus that is overly infectious. Stacked with a summertime feel, 'Do You Like It?' will command you to shake a leg and dance.

There have been loads of exciting bands exploding out of Melbourne for a while now. From indie to psychedelic, the city is on fire with talent bursting out the seams. One of the bands that have been delivering quality tracks, is Slum Sociable. The duo released their lush single 'Afterthought' back in 2018. They now return with their latest cut 'Life Is Free'. Vibrantly stunning with dynamic vocal performances, musically the tune is aligned with the new romantic period of the late 70s - early 80s, all the while adding a modern twist.
