Following the tradition of skilled writers hailing from Ireland, Newtownards-raised Pete Gardiner unveils his debut EP 'Idols', a relatable look at life which shines a spotlight on the current obsession of celebrity culture, the lacking of financials and life in Belfast. Using a backdrop of indie-pop and folk, Gardiner's witty lyricism, keeps you locked into each song like true and crafty entertainer, following the likes of masters such as Leonard Cohen. Working with producer Tommy McLaughlin, 'Idols' is currently out on NUA Entertainment.
