Keith Flint of The Prodigy Has Passed Away at 49

Keith Flint, front man of one of the most iconic electronic music outfits The Prodigy, has sadly passed away aged 49. He was found dead at his home in Dunmow, Essex, with the cause being attributed to suicide. Known for his eccentric appearance, in your face vocals and energetic performances, Keith Flint brought a punk sensibility and attitude to electronica, defying the mainstream, which ultimately helped The Prodigy to consistently score Number 1 records. Their singles such as 'Firestarter' not only landed at the top of the UK charts, but also crossed-over in the U.S. market.

Tacocat ‘Grains of Salt’ Video

Seattle band Tacocat will drop their fourth album 'This Mess Is a Place' via Sub Pop on May 3rd. A firm response to the current social climate, the group have also shared the video for their current single 'Grains of Salt'. Directed by Claire Buss, the fun and vibrant video features a number of performers across the Seattle area strutting their stuff and adding an uncanny liveliness to the video.

Ex Hex ‘Tough Enough’ Video

It's been almost five years since DC band Ex Hex released their debut album 'Rips'. Although the trio have been touring in between that period, not to mention dropping their 'Hot and Cold' / 'Waterfall' single pack, Ex Hex will finally release their second LP entitled 'It's Real' on March 22nd via the Merge imprint.

Calva Louise Have Released Their Debut LP ‘Rhinoceros’

London band Calva Louise have been blazing trails in the UK punk scene, carving out their own lane, making them one of the more intriguing bands of the scene. After previously releasing cuts such as 'Outrageous' and 'I Heard A Cry', Calva Louise have dropped their debut LP 'Rhinoceros'. Comprised of ten tracks, the group fuses together punk, post-punk, indie and more. Whilst their sound has been driven by electric and fuzzy guitar liners, the trio have also incorporated pop-centric hooks in their songs, creating a bigger canvas to musically paint on.

Matty Carlock Ft. Jesse Malin ‘Young And Fucked Up’ Video

Middletown mainstay Matty Carlock has dropped the video to his latest single 'Young And Fucked Up'. Directed by Carlock himself, the visuals are clips of video footage shot between 2004 and 2019, essentially giving viewers a window into his life during that duration. There is a heap of skateboarding, hanging out with friends, music rehearsals and hardcore live performances.

Death Valley Girls ‘Street Justice’ Video

Whilst we are a long way from Halloween, Los Angeles band Death Valley Girls tap into scenes of horror with their latest video 'Street Justice'. Directed by RailRoad Bill, what you have here are references of Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers and more. Like watching your top horror films on a VHS tape (which these visuals are meant to replicate), this is actually much better considering that Death Valley Girls have provided killer desert rock and punk to coincide.

Stream Never Betters’ ‘Alone’

Canadian band Never Better have shared their new track 'Alone'. The song follows their 'Guns and Roses’ Roses' split release with Grievances back in March. Recorded by Simon Larochette, the song is a streakng blast of alternative, punk and alt pop. With the track highlighting the joy of those initial stages of love, even when it isn't reciprocated. Check Out Mice On Mars’ Blazing Post Punk EP ‘Northern Soul’

Originally from Yorkshire but now residing in London, Mice On Mars have released their debut EP 'Northern Soul' via Permanent Creeps Records. Whilst the title could easily make one think of the legendary Manchester rhythm and blues movement of old, this is unadulterated, raw punk and post-punk at its very finest. Comprised of four songs in total, the group deliver dynamic performances packed with fiery energy that makes you utterly yearn for more.

Nelson Can Have Released Vinyl Editions of Previous EPs and Album

Danish band Nelson Can have released vinyl editions of their previous EPs and debut album. Their 'EP1' and 'EP2' records have now been produced on white vinyl with their 2017 'EP3' pressed on red 12". Nelson Can's 2014 album 'Now Is Your Time To Deliver' is released on black vinyl, previously only available in Denmark. The records are currently out now via Alcopop! Records.
