Cleverly fusing the sounds of post-punk, coldwave, goth, and even new wave, the group have managed to foster a dark, heavy sound that is utterly unique and takes no solid oath to any of the genres previously mentioned.
Irish poet / artist Sinead O'Brien makes her return with her new cut 'GIRLKIND'. The track will hopefully be featured on her upcoming debut album which will get released on Chess Club Records. Produced by Dan Carey, the track has a spirited post-punk sound that compliments Sinead O'Brien's vocals perfectly.
Having released their critically acclaimed LP 'Bright Green Field' back in May of this year, Squid now unveil a remixed EP. The record features a rework of their track 'Global Groove' by none other than industrial pioneer and experimental artist Cosey Fanni Tutti of Throbbing Gristle and Chris & Cosey / Carter Tutti fame.
