Nina Kraviz is set to release a new compilation titled 'Hot Steel' via her трип label. Out June 19th, the concept of the album emerged from her live stream at Moscow’s Mutabor back on May 3rd. What initially began as a call for emerging artists to send over tracks for the event, eventually morphed into Kraviz putting together an entire compilation. Musically styles range from techno to glitch and experimental electronica.
St. Vincent calls upon techno heroine Nina Kraviz to remix her track 'New York', which is taken from her forthcoming 'MASSEDUCTION Rewired' LP, out December 13th. Minimal in production, the track is composed of haunting and ghostly harmonies with Kraviz topping them off with her own seductive vocal narrative. After spending her childhood in the Siberian city of Irkutsk, Nina moved to Moscow and gradually found herself more involved in the local scene. She began producing music in 2008, and before long had her first release 'Voices' on the Underground Quality imprint in 2009.
