NKOS ‘BOW (Brave Old World)’ Video

NKOS are a four-piece band consisting of members from various cities across Europe, with a sound that fuses post-punk, new wave, techno, synthwave and more. Signed to Beatbuzz Records, in which the label owners profess to have discovered them at an Italian party, the band members are currently finishing their debut album.

Releasing their single pack 'Tranås/Stenslanda' a few months back, Swedish duo Kite have made their return with a new song titled 'Bliss'. Teaming-up with Blanck Mass for the production, the track has a juxtaposition of dark, grinding synth bass tones and more ethereal layers, whilst thundering drums add a racing energy. The tune is a collage of synthpop, new wave, industrial and 90s dance that all act with a cohesiveness.

PINS Have Released Their Third LP ‘Hot Slick’

Manchester band PINS have released their third album 'Hot Slick'. Comprised of ten songs in total, the record finds the trio expanding their sound beyond their earlier post-punk roots, incorporating electro, dance and indie pop rhythms. The new work follows their 2015 album 'Wild Nights'. Although a 5 year gap, PINS dropped a slew of singles including 'Aggrophobe' featuring Iggy Pop, 'Bad Thing' and 'Serve The Rich'.

The Ninth Wave Unveil Their New Cut ‘Happy Days!’

Glasgow's The Ninth Wave make their return with a new single entitled 'Happy Days'. The song is the title track taken from their upcoming EP, out July 17th. Driven by a low, rumbling bass line and haunting synths, the dark and menacing production coincide with the theme of the tune, which revolves around the various trials and tribulations that one encounters in life. NYC-based band Psychobuildings released their LP 'Love World' back in 2014, which followed their 'Hearts' and self-titled EPs. Since that time they have gone on to pump out a number of fantastic post-punk, new wave and art pop-inspired singles. Psychobuildings have now shared their latest track 'M'lia'. Meshing together 80s pop and early new wave, the tune is built on sensual synth lines and thumping drum kicks which spark a feeling of nostalgia as the lyrics are an ode to the love of that special someone.
