The Raconteurs Share Their Explosive Single ‘Bored and Razed’

The Raconteurs give us that unadulterated sound of Detroit rock & roll with their new single 'Bored and Razed'. Black Pistol Fire Drop Their Rocking Cut ‘Pick Your Poison’

Having ripped through 2019 with the fiery track 'Black Halo' and the two song release 'Temper Temper / So Real', Austin-based band Black Pistol Fire continue to turn up the heat with their latest single 'Pick Your Poison'. Whilst generally known for their fuzz-filled, psych meets blues rock sound, the band scale back opting for more of a clean delivery of hard rock with bite. Releasing their debut album 'Rips' back in 2014, Washington D.C. band Ex Hex are set to drop their sophomore LP 'It's Real' on March 22nd via the Merge imprint. Giving fans a glimpse of what to expect with the new record, Ex Hex have also shared the lead single entitled 'Cosmic Cave'. Produced by Jonah Takagi, the guitar-led cut rattles with excitement incorporating elements of hard rock with a garage style, all topped with stadium choruses that fit together like a hand in glove.

Watching a live show of New York band Mother Feather feels like you're engaging in rock & roll performance art. Aside from the obvious visual presentations of front woman Ann Courtney and singer/keyboardist Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Carena - which include stark make-up combined with a bold fashion flair, their performances are wild, energetic and ultimately free. Musically the group, which also features guitarist Chris Foley, bassist Seth Ondracek and drummer Gunnar Olsen, has been dubbed by the press as purveyors of the classic New York City rock sound whilst effortlessly giving it their own modern stamping.
