MANKIND Share Their Latest Garage Rock Single ‘Three Handfuls Of Dirt’

Swedish rockers MANKIND make their return with a healthy dealing of dark and powerful garage rock. Just a second under four minutes in length, 'Three Handfuls Of Dirt' is a slow building drill of electrifying guitar riffs and thunderous drums before exploding into intense climax that would raise the dead. Ironically the track is taken from their forthcoming EP 'Death', out May 12.

Whilst the city of Atlanta may have a stake on the sound of trap music, there is a bubbling punk scene that is happening beneath the surface. One of the groups that are at the forefront of the punk circuit in the ATL are the threesome known as The Coathangers. Forming in 2006, these rockers have released a number of 7" records as well as three LPs over their decade span. With their forthcoming 'Parasite' EP out June 30th via Suicide Squeeze, they have shared one of the songs taken from the release entitled 'Captain's Dead'. A spicy delivery in content, sing-a-long hooks and clever instrumentation makes this another winner for the trio.

Stream Sharkmuffin’s New Track ‘Space Glow’

On the New York side of things, Brooklyn band Sharkmuffin have been dropping a load of excellent punk, noise and garage rock tracks for a number of years. Their 2013 debut EP 'She-Gods of Champagne Valley' was an energetic marathon of raw and in your face garage that was jumping with force and attitude. That same year they also dropped the '1097' EP. 2015 saw the release of Sharkmuffin's debut LP 'Chartreuse', further imprinting their core sound which featured a modern day punk fury mixed with classic elements of the genre.

Hanni El Khatib Announces Upcoming Album ‘Savage Times’ and Shares Latest Track ‘This I Know’

L.A.-based garage rocker Hanni El Khatib has announced the details of his forthcoming album 'Savage Times' out February 17th on Innovative Leisure. The new work features the full collection of his Savage Times EPs released in 2016, along with a batch of new tracks. There will also be limited edition 10" vinyl books available for purchase. To coincide with the news, Hanni El Khatib has also shared his latest track titled 'This I Know'. A raw soul meets rock concoction, the track will also be featured on the upcoming LP. Leopold and His Fiction ‘I’m Caving In’ Video

Austin's Leopold and His Fiction unveil their video for the track 'I’m Caving In', which is taken from their forthcoming LP 'Darling Destroyer' out January 20, 2017. The band perform the song in what appears to be a cross between a church and a fun house as kaleidoscopic effects flash throughout various clips. There are also television sets in the place with frontman Daniel James looking at himself on the screens. Somewhat visually trippy, no one can deny that the song is an absolutely killer garage rock cut. Have a look.
