Fontaines D.C. are prepping for the release of their new album 'Skinty Fia', out April 22nd via Partisan Records. Having previously shared tracks with videos from the LP which include 'Jackie Down The Line' and 'I Love You', the Dublin band now share the title cut of the new record along with impressive visuals.
Dublin producer and multi-instrumentalist Abbacaxi will release his forthcoming EP titled 'Endless' next month. The record will encompass a varied range of musical genres including jazz, electronica, soul and more. Abbacaxi has also unveiled the title track to the upcoming EP. 'Endless' is a nostalgic handing of 90s rave and breakbeat, with the production itself totally atmospheric and dreamy.
Dublin artist Hillary Woods has released her new EP 'Feral Hymns' via the Sacred Bones label. The record is available not only on all digital platforms but has dropped on cassette, which is limited to 300 copies in total.
Irish poet / artist Sinead O'Brien makes her return with her new cut 'GIRLKIND'. The track will hopefully be featured on her upcoming debut album which will get released on Chess Club Records. Anna B Savage steps up with the video for her latest single 'Baby Grand'. Directed by the artist herself along with Jem Talbot, the story is a remake of a scene from Talbot's and Anna B Savage's short film of the same name where reality and that which is not, get crossed between a couple
Fontaines D.C. are scheduled to release their new album 'A Hero's Death' on July 31st via Partisan Records. With that already being exciting news in itself, they have also shared the official video to the title track. Directed by Hugh Mulhern, the story line revolves around a talk show host who is seemingly full of himself, whilst staff are less than excited. As he comes back to the dressing room to prep Fontaines D.C. for their performance on the show, the group with miserable expressions on their faces ultimately have the last laugh as the host gets taunted with puppets. This is another brilliant record from the Dublin band.
With their new EP 'Live From BBC Maida Vale' out now, Dublin band The Murder Capital have dropped their version of the FKA twigs tune 'Cellophane'. Whilst the song begins as an airy re-working of minimalism, it eventually transitions into a heavy post-punk crusher. Intense at peak points, the boys bring the sound back down to that previous space of peaceful moments, which is down quite masterfully.
Dublin band Inhaler have shared their latest single 'Ice Cream Sundae'. According to the group's Faecbook page, the track was the first tune that they wrote together. A breezy and easing indie rock sliding with pop toppings, the lush instrumentation is glazed with an 80s layering whilst properly fitting for the now. Have a listen.
With their exceptional debut album 'When I Have Fears' currently out now, Dublin band The Murder Capital have shared a live performance of their song 'Don't Cling To Life (Part II/IV)'. Directed by Charlie Joe, along with The Murder Capital themselves, the video was recorded at D-light studios in Dublin. What you have here are clips featuring the band playing in front of a huge projection with the visuals practically looking better than many artists' official videos.
