Making his return with the track and video 'STRESSY' last month, Hanni El Khatib now unveils another vid, this time for the second single titled 'ALIVE'. What you have here is Hanni dressed up in a Sylvester the Cat costume whilst taking a fall down a very long set of outside steps. While you can pretty much place the metaphorical nature of the visuals to the track itself, we're just hoping that it only took Hanni one take to do that fall! 'ALIVE' is taken from his forthcoming album 'Flight', which is out May 15th on Innovative Leisure.
Athens producer Kyriakos Moustakas aka Sundayman has had his hand in the musical pot for a number of years now, releasing his 2009 album 'Outerland' and 2012's 'Retronome', not to mention his work with Yellow Slots. With his third LP 'Scene Missing' out November 7th, Sundayman has shared his new track 'Alive', taken from the upcoming album. Somewhere between cinematic synth pop, 80s new wave and haunting electronica of today, Moustakas's eerie vocals along with the creeping keys help to push this cut into an all-out apocalyptic soundscape of goodness. This is quite a treat. 'Scene Missing' will get released via Inner Ear. You can listen to 'Alive' down at the bottom.
Is it us or does Sia truly knows how to drop visuals that revolve around cute, little kids that are highly skillful at touching our hearts with their act of either dancing or beating someone up via their artistry. In terms of her latest video 'Alive', the Australian singer recruits a little girl who is performing a martial arts routine in an empty room whilst wearing a half black/half blonde wig of Sia's signature haircut. We're quite sure that this child can take down the most vicious bully.
