Montreal band TOPS have shared their new single ‘Party Again’. The track comes along with the announcement of show dates across the US and a performance at Primavera Sound in Spain. What is surely appropriate for the current lockdown easing, the song is a gentle dream-pop cut that feels like it could be included on a soundtrack to chilled summer nights in the Balearic Islands of Spain.
In a press statement regarding the single, TOPs mentioned:
“Last spring when all our tours got cancelled most of us ended up in Montreal and we spent the summer writing and recording some new songs. The song we’re sharing today – ‘Party Again’ – seemed too appropriate to not use it to announce our rescheduled dates. The song is about missing someone that you only see when you go out,”
