Gothenburg-based producer Oliver Knowles better known as The Keep has unveiled his latest track ‘Through Portals’. The single is taken from Knowles’ new EP Andra. What begins with a simply menacing synth line and drums, the open tune eventually builds up into quite a blissful slice of melodic electronica. The instrumental cut emits a feeling of travel, bringing the listener on a journey throughout it’s duration. ‘Through Portals’ is out on the Houndstooth imprint.

Regarding the track, The Keep stated:

“Through Portals’ was written at the time I was moving from London to Gothenburg so it’s really a reflection of that time and the nervous excitement of new beginnings. I kind of imagined it as venturing into a dark ancient forest that’s probably got magical creatures in it.”
