Swedish group Crying Day Care Choir have released their new EP Give Me Something Vol. 1 via their ELZ Productions imprint. The record is the first in a series of three which conceptually taps into the correlation between music and art, as well as the means in which they are created.
Comprised of four songs, the EP is a well blended mix of alternative, indie folk, dream pop, and electronica.
The record also serves as a part of Crying Day Care Choir’s collaboration with renown artist Damien Hirst, whose project ‘The Currency’ shines a spotlight on the relationship between art and money. Hirst’s piece ‘Give Me Something’ will act as the cover art for CDCC’s full album release.
