It has been close to six years since Sky Ferreira released her ‘Night Time, My Time’ LP. With the past few years being a rapid onslaught of singles and albums by countless artists, it would be easy for even someone with Ferreira’s fame and status to fall from the minds of fans after a lengthy hiatus, even with a few here and there cover versions that she has shared over the coarse of time.

Now with her new album Masochism landing this year, Sky Ferreira makes a return with her new single ‘Downhill Lullaby’. A hazy, cinematic experimental alt-pop / trip-hop offering, the tune marks a shift in her sound with this one learning towards more experimentation.
