Sheffield outfit SHEAFS will release their forthcoming debut album A Happy Medium on July 15th via via Modern Sky UK. The new record follows the band’s 2020 debut EP Vox Pop.

SHEAFS have also shared their new single ‘Monotonal Living’. Produced by Adrian Bushby, the punchy post-punk offering deals with our current social media addiction and its negative results on our day to day lives. The instrumentation of the song creates a sense of urgency which is highly effective, coinciding with the clutching vocals of Lawrence Feenstra.

You can stream ‘Monotonal Living’ down below.

Touching on the single, SHEAFS stated:

“Written about the dependency on social media in the modern day, the track focuses on the hypocritical juxtaposition of not being able to live without it, and the self-deprecating pressures of living with it.”
